FAQ
- How long is a typical Laugh A Lot Art Workshop? You choose between a 1.5 hour or 2 hour art activity time allotment. We arrive 30 mins to an hour early to set up depending on the number of guests expected and suggest guests NOT enter the paint party area until set-up is complete. We spend 30 minutes cleaning up. A total of about 2.5 or 3 hours of a Laugh A Lot presence at your location.
- Do you have a minimum number of people required? We have a minimum flat rate for 10 or less guests. The rate applies even if fewer than 10 attend.
- How much does a Laugh A Lot Art Workshop cost? We send you an event planning questionnaire to gather information about the who, where, when, why and what you want to create that helps us provide a quote for your event. Parties range from $250 and up depending on the number of guests and the project you select.
- Where do we go to make our deposit payment to reserve my date? Go to Paypal.com and enter account donna.laughalotartevents@gmail.com - Please note your group's name and event date. Contact us to discuss other forms of payment we accept.
- What are the options for the guided canvas paintings? Go to our gallery for options, or we can discuss a customized piece.
- Do we all have to paint the same subject? You're welcome to create whatever inspires you with the materials provided without our instruction. Our guide/instructor will be providing step by step instruction on one subject unless you choose the more self directed projects listed.
- Are there other art projects besides canvas we can choose from? Yes! Wine goblets, beer glasses, inspirational collages, plaques, pumpkins, mandala stones and masks are more self-directed with a variety of stencils and template.
- Do you provide alcohol or food? No, Laugh A Lot Mobile Art Events are BYOB & food.
- Do you bring tables and chairs? You are asked to provide all tables and chairs in a well lit sheltered area with access to a sink and bathrooms, however, we can provide a limited number of tables (three 6') and chairs (8) at an extra fee or recommend a resource for table & chair rental.
- Will you cover my tables and and provide aprons for guests? Yes! (Let us know if you require drop clothes for floors.)
- Can I bring my kids? This is usually determined by the host facility if they are hosting a family event or kids party, parents must accompany their children. Laugh A Lot does not provide alcohol and will not be held responsible for conduct of anyone consuming. We recommend against the host facility including kids at events if they are serving alcohol.
- Do you host art workshops and lessons for children? Laugh A Lot Mobile Art Workshops are available for children's parties for painting and arts & crafts.
