"This is about encouraging relational & playful self-expression in a safe space."

ADAPTING UNDER THE THREAT OF COVID-19:
"Laugh A Lot art parties are so much fun to host and I love venturing out and exploring new venues. Unfortunately, the recent traumatic COVID-19 pandemic has forced me to adapt my business to online only offerings for the time being. Keeping people safe and calm in a relaxed environment during these uncertain times and preventing individuals from feeling isolated and alone is so important! By using the ZOOM Meeting Platform to connect people with each other and their creativity it might just save a little sanity and maybe even some lives."
MY BACKGROUND IN ART:
"I've been creating art all my life and always knew it was a natural path for me to share that creativity in my career and personal life. Growing up in upstate New York, I was inspired by the beauty of the countryside, mountains and the changing seasons and (with only a short train ride) the contrasting experiences found in the cultural mecca of New York City! Working in graphic design, marketing and advertising early in my career was an adventure in corporate life and entrepreneurship. I worked with printers, computer animation companies, ad agencies, hot air balloonists and helped establish a yacht management company. My experiences were exciting, inspirational and fed my social side. I left my career in advertising and marketing to raise a family in Austin, TX where I got back to fine art and took up teaching. I earned my teaching certification for Art EC-12 and spent several years with LISD, taught neighborhood kids after school and hosted backyard art parties and summer camps. The mom's wanted to play with paint over wine too, so soon I was hosting paint & sips long before the franchises!
WHY LAUGH A LOT ART EVENTS?
"Art can be a very personal and reclusive activity, Although, I like alone time to really develop my skills, sometimes I just want to let loose and have some laughs with others! I find we all need a break from the daily grind, pressures of parenting, work, and sometimes the loneliness of single life or being empty-nested. Laugh A Lot events offer art activities to inspire and connect us with others, which is educational, enriching and therapeutic!
Helping others tap into their creativity and seeing the joy in the face of those new to painting and others getting back into it is very rewarding.
If you are looking for some laughs and an extraordinary experience connecting with friends, your community, or co-workers, or raising funds for your favorite charity, consider a Laugh A Lot art event!"
